Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

We are hiring a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services. As an SLPA, you will work with children and/or adults who have communication disorders, assisting with treatment implementation, documentation, and client care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow therapy plans and protocols developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

  • Provide one-on-one or small group speech-language therapy sessions under the guidance of an SLP.

  • Assist in the preparation and organization of therapy materials and activities.

  • Document clients' progress, behavior, and responses during sessions.

  • Communicate observations and concerns to the supervising SLP.

  • Support clients in developing communication skills related to speech, voice, fluency, and language.

  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive therapy environment.

  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology or a related field.

  • Current SLPA license or certification as required by state regulations.

  • Experience working with children or adults with speech-language disorders is preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to follow clinical instructions and adhere to ethical standards.
