HHA/PCA Requirements and Key Responsibilities:
- New York State HHA or PCA Certificate
- Limited Availability for sponsored certification courses in Long Island, West Chester and Staten Island
- Ability to meet New York state credentialing requirement guidelines for work as an HHA or PCA in NY
- Bilingual a PLUS
- Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming and dressing
- Preparation of meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Companionship and Emotional support
- Assist with daily living activities
- Interest in working with clients from diverse backgrounds and disabilities
